NEW WEBSITE FOR GYLLY
Their website has had a recent re-design featuring lots of images of Dale’s food and a place to keep up to date with any future events and special menu nights that they will look to host once all covid related restrictions have been lifted.


OPEN FOR BUSINESS
Dale and the team at Gylly beach reopened the café on 4th July after spending weeks carefully planning on making the cafe safe and clean for all staff and visitors. In what will be a challenging time for all in the industry, everyone at Gylly will be doing their upmost to make the dining out experience that you have all missed, not only as enjoyable as it has always been but as safe you as they can. They hope to see you all in the near future.


CORNWALL TOURISM AWARDS
On 1st November, Truro Cathedral will be host to this years awards in which Dale has been asked to provide the main course in conjunction with Kerra’s Catering for all 430 guests, again using the finest pork from Primrose Herd.


Village Life

Dale has recently visited Kennel Vale School in Ponsanooth for a Greek food demonstration with a Year 6 class to coincide with their Greek topic. This summer also saw Dale supporting the Village Fair Day as well as at the posh frocks and wellies event with his cooking skills, that aims to raise money for the rebuilding of the villages pre-school and the Christmas Lights. Along with his donations for Septembers harvest festival auction at the local village pub which showcases his support for his village.

Food Magazine Award

Gylly Beach cafe recently won the Food Magazine best/cafe restaurant 2017/18. A huge congratulations for all the team.


Christmas in Padstow

The Padstow Christmas Festival runs again this year between 6th and 9th December. Dale will be taking to the festival stage on the 6th at 3.30pm which he will showcasing a deconstructed Primrose Herd pigs head featuring crispy ears, braised cheek and a hogs pudding and stewed head terrine. The festival features peers such as Michael Caines, Angela Hartnett, Rick Stein, Nathan Outlaw, Paul Ainsworth and Tom Kerridge. An event too good to be missed. Click here to read more.


Crack open the Oysters

Dale will officially launch the 21st Falmouth Oyster Festival this year. At 11am on Thursday 12th October, Dale will open the festival with a demonstration of his award winning food design skills using Falmouth dredged oysters and the day's catch.
